Check your website

Enter your address. Our Lighthouse test measures how fast your site loads, how easy it is to use and whether search engines can read it. You get one plain verdict and the fixes in order, biggest first.

Type to search for a country, then pick it with the arrow keys and Enter.

For the check our own server loads the page and measures it with Lighthouse, an open measuring tool that runs at our host Vercel. For our usage statistics we store the checked address with the results, page language, device type and a pseudonymous key that changes daily, for 13 months. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or GPC, we create no entry. Privacy policy

Nothing checked yet. Enter your address above and press Check my website. The result appears here after about a minute.

Questions about the website check

How does the check work?
  1. You enter the address. Any public web address, for example example.de. No sign-up, no email address.
  2. Lighthouse measures it twice. Our server loads the page with Lighthouse, the open measuring tool PageSpeed Insights also uses, once as a phone and once as a desktop computer, and scores speed, accessibility, best practices and SEO for each.
  3. Our server reads the page. At the same time our server reads the HTML of the page and checks the search basics, the content, signals for AI search and German legal references.
  4. You get a verdict and a list. One plain sentence on the weakest area, then the fixes in order, biggest first. All of it takes about a minute.
How do I read the scores?

Every score runs from 0 to 100. The band matters more than the exact number.

  • Speed: How quickly the page loads and becomes usable.
  • Accessibility: Whether people who see poorly, use a screen reader or only a keyboard can use it.
  • Best practices: Technical basics such as a secure connection and up-to-date code.
  • SEO: Whether search engines can read the page and understand what it offers.

90 and above is good, 50 to 89 needs work, below 50 is poor.

Why are phone and desktop measured separately?

A site can be quick on a desktop computer and slow on a phone, where most visitors are. The check runs both and puts them side by side.

The phone run imitates a mid-range phone on a mobile connection, so it is usually the stricter of the two. The desktop run uses a wide screen and a fast connection.

Why does my result differ from other tests?

The test run is a single measurement from today on our server, with an emulated device and a set connection. Other tools such as PageSpeed Insights measure on other hardware in another place, and your visitors use their own devices and networks. That is why the scores can differ by a few points. What counts is the range, not the exact number.

What does the content audit check?

Our server reads the page itself and checks the search basics, the content, signals for AI search and German legal references.

  • Search engine basics
  • Content
  • Readiness for AI search
  • Legal basics (Germany)

Automated hint, not legal advice. The checks look for typical patterns in the page source and cannot judge whether your legal texts are complete and correct. For a binding assessment, ask a lawyer.

What happens to my address?

For the check our own server loads the page and measures it with Lighthouse, an open measuring tool that runs at our host Vercel. For our usage statistics we store the checked address with the results, page language, device type and a pseudonymous key that changes daily, for 13 months. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or GPC, we create no entry. Privacy policy

Up to 3 checks per minute from one connection.

The check reads the HTML of the page and of up to two linked legal pages, as your server delivers them. Content that scripts load later is not included.
